Praise & Worship

The inner essence of worship is to know God truly and then respond from the heart to that knowledge by valuing God, treasuring God, prizing God, enjoying God, being satisfied with God above all earthly things. Our team ensures everyone young and old experience God thru their worship.
"I appeal to you, therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable, which is your spiritual service of worship."
Romans 12:1

New To Faith

Come As You Are

Beginning a relationship with Jesus is the most life-changing decision you can make.

At Zion Tabernacle we hold to these foundational beliefs

We believe in:

One God (Father, Son & Holy Spirit). The biblical revelation testifies that there is only one God and that He is eternally existent in three persons—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Jesus Christ is eternally God. He was together with the Father and the Holy Spirit from the beginning, and through Him all things were made. For man’s redemption, He left heaven and became incarnate by the Holy Spirit through the virgin Mary; henceforth, He is forever one Christ with two natures—God and man—in one person. He is seated at the right hand of the Father and is interceding for us and will return soon as a judge.

Jesus Christ is the Way, the Truth and the Life. Salvation for all people is thru repentance, confession and accepting the forgiving power of Jesus Christ.

All who believe in Jesus will externalize their commitment to God by obeying Him in the waters of baptism, thus being initiated as disciples of Christ into His family, the Church.

The perpetual command of the Great Commission is to take the gospel to the world. We believe that the Church, through the Holy Spirit, has the power and authority of Jesus to heal the sick, cast out demons and raise the dead. He also empowers every disciple with His gifts and power to be effective witnesses for Him in the worldwide mission of making disciples.

Each believer should fellowship and celebrate the Lord’s Supper regularly with the Church. This will serve as a way of remembering his identity with Christ and with Christ’s body, the Church, until Christ’s return.

The glorious return of our Lord Jesus Christ for His Church is coming soon. He will judge and reward, the living and the dead and will establish His kingdom forever. Until Jesus comes again the Church is called to be in the world, yet not of the world; submit to all authority that God has placed; be prayerful and watchful and be the salt and light to the world.

We believe The Bible is the Word of God.

We affirm that the Bible, containing the Old and New Testaments, is alone the only infallible, inspired Word of God, and that its authority is ultimate, final, and eternal. It cannot be added to, subtracted from, or superseded in any regard. The Bible is the source of all doctrine, instruction, correction, and reproof. It contains all that is needed for guidance in godliness and practical Christian conduct.

We believe in the Person, gifts and move of the Holy Spirit.

The Holy Spirit is God, the Lord and giver of life, who was active in the Old Testament and given to the Church in fullness at Pentecost. He empowers the saints for service and witness, cleanses man from the old nature and conforms us to the image of Christ. The baptism in the Holy Spirit, subsequent to conversion, releases the fullness of the Spirit and is evidenced by the fruits and gifts of the Holy Spirit.

We believe in biblical marriage.

We believe in unconditional love for everyone while remaining unwavering in our loyalty to God’s Holy word. We believe that because God our Creator established marriage as a sacred institution between one man and one woman, the idea that marriage is a covenant only between one man and one woman has been the traditional definition of marriage for all of human history (“Traditional Definition of Marriage”). Because of the longstanding importance of the Traditional Definition of Marriage to humans and their relationships and communities, and, most importantly, the fact that God has ordained that marriage be between one man and one woman, as clearly conveyed in God’s inerrant Scriptures, including for example in Matthew 19:4-6 where in speaking about marriage Jesus referred to the fact that “he which made them at the beginning made them male and female,” the Church hereby creates this policy, which shall be known as the “Marriage Policy.”
